The Opera Singer and The Violinist II by gwendy85
The Opera Singer and The Violinist II

Still can’t get over the fact that Irene wasn’t physically there in TAB. Anyway, I somehow found myself researching on the novels which featured Irene and Sherlock and found “The Canary Trainer” by Nicholas Meyer, where Sherlock goes undercover in America, posing as a violinist in an opera house. Admittedly, I am yet to find a copy of the book but I did find the description of how he found Irene, hence the inspiration for these recent photo manipulations. The second one, you probably already saw. I edited the lighting (again LOL)

From Wikipedia:

All goes well until the prima donna soprano, La Sorelli, falls ill and is replaced by Irene Adler, a past adversary known for her ability to outwit Holmes. His admiration for her provokes uncertain emotions, largely foreign to his calculating nature—but he soon realizes that torment is secondary, when the opera rehearsals subject him to her incomparably beautiful singing. He suffers in silence until Adler sees his profile in a Degas painting, whereupon she realizes that he is alive, and enlists his help.

For I Have Taken Your Pulse

That pivotal ASiB scene re-imagined in Victorian times

Irene: “Sentiment? Whatever do you mean Mr. Holmes?”
Sherlock: “I am referring to you, Ms. Adler.”
Irene: “Oh dear God. Look at this poor man. Do you honestly believe that I hold the slightest interest in you? Why? Is it because you’re the great Sherlock Holmes, the clever detective with the silly hat?”
Sherlock: “No. I say this for I have taken your pulse.”

The Opera Singer and the Violinist - Irene Adler and Sherlock Holmes in “The Canary Trainer”

Edit of a previous photo manipulation. Added in a bit of filter.

The Canary Trainer: From the Memoirs of John H. Watson is a 1993 Sherlock Holmes pastiche by Nicholas Meyer. It features a time during Sherlock’s death/hiatus, where he travels to America and works as a violinist in an opera house. There, he crosses paths with his former adversary, Irene Adler, now an opera singer. It is heavily implied at the end that they consummated their relationship.

You Didn't Glimpse It by gwendy85
You Didn't Glimpse It

Watson: “That watch that you’re wearing, there’s a photograph inside it. I glimpsed it once. I believe it is of Irene Adler.”

Sherlock: “You didn’t glimpse it. You waited til I’d fallen asleep and looked at it.”
